Privacy Policy

Overview
Level Up (“Level Up,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an analytics dashboard that helps a TikTok live streamer and the team members they authorize understand their audience, content, and stream performance. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Level Up is an invite-only tool. We only access a streamer’s TikTok data after that streamer explicitly connects their TikTok account and grants permission through TikTok’s official authorization screen.
Information we collect
When you connect a TikTok account, we access — through TikTok’s official Login Kit and Display API, and only within the scopes you approve — the following:
- TikTok profile — your TikTok open ID, display name, and avatar (scope
user.info.basic). - Aggregate account statistics — your follower count, following count, and total likes (scope
user.info.stats). - Public video metadata — for your videos: the video ID, title, thumbnail image, and view, like, comment, and share counts (scope
video.list).
We also collect and store:
- Account and authentication data — the email address used to sign in to the dashboard, your display name, and your assigned role.
- TikTok authorization tokens — the OAuth access and refresh tokens that let us call the TikTok API on your behalf. These are stored encrypted and are never displayed in the application.
- Live stream analytics — where a streamer uses our live capture feature, we record aggregate stream events (such as gifts, likes, comments, and viewer joins) to produce engagement metrics and estimated earnings figures.
- Essential cookies — a session cookie used to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
How we use your information
- To display your analytics dashboard — followers, earnings estimates, content performance, audience, and live stream activity.
- To keep your TikTok connection working, including refreshing authorization tokens.
- To authenticate you and enforce role-based access (for example, hiding earnings figures from team members who are not permitted to see them).
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
How your information is stored and protected
Your data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database provided by Supabase and served through infrastructure hosted on Vercel. We apply row-level access controls so each streamer’s data is scoped to that streamer and their authorized team, and TikTok authorization tokens are encrypted at rest. All data is stored on servers located in the United States.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the service:
- With people you authorize— the connected streamer and the team members or administrators granted access to that streamer’s dashboard.
- With service providers — TikTok (to retrieve your data), Supabase (database hosting), and Vercel (application hosting), acting on our behalf.
- For legal reasons — where required to comply with applicable law or a valid legal request, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and your TikTok account remains connected. You can disconnect your TikTok account at any time from within the dashboard, or revoke Level Up’s access directly from your TikTok account settings. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us at covertmichael@gmail.com and we will delete it, except where we are required to retain it by law.
Your rights and choices
- Disconnect your TikTok account from the dashboard at any time.
- Revoke access from your TikTok account settings, which immediately stops any further data retrieval.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
Third-party services
Our use of information received from TikTok complies with the TikTok Developer Guidelines. Your use of TikTok is also governed by TikTok’s own Privacy Policy. This service also relies on Supabase and Vercel as infrastructure providers.
Children's privacy
Level Up is intended for use by TikTok content creators and is not directed to children. You must meet TikTok’s minimum age requirements to connect an account. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone who does not.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the service where appropriate.
